Holland, Mi I've known Josh since he was maybe 3 years old, I can't really remember the first time we met but I know it was LONG time ago. He is a senior this year (which makes me feel SO old!!). Josh has been like my little brother growing up, I love him to death, I even had him come down to my university's "siblings weekend" and pretend to be my brother (I know...so cute!). Anyways, I brought him to downtown Holland and we staked out a junk yard with train tracks that ended up looking awesome!

This past fall I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures of some family friends and their precious puppy! Sasha, their new dog, doesn't handle car rides well so they ended up giving her something to relax her so she was a little sleepy on the ride over, which I find hilarious! We went out to a park in Grand Rapids and explored the beautiful fall weather. At one point I literally caught a picture of a leaf falling, I felt so proud.

These ducks were so cute!

A night out

Last night Sunshine and I went downtown Pint n Slice in Fort Wayne to see James and the Drifters and they were AMAZING! It was super crowded in there but it was a blast to be with friends :) After the show, we walked around a bit and took night pictures of Fort Wayne.

Let me just start out by saying that these are 4 of the most wonderful women I have had a privilege to know. Each one is amazing and has had an impact on my life. Danielle was my RA my freshman year, she is amazing and has the unique ability to make friends with anyone she comes into contact with, something I admire and try to emulate. Katie Rodgers and Jan Boroff are two of the funniest and coolest people i know, hands down. At times, I literally wish I was them. Katie Razor is such an amazing person! I met her through the 509 and has been a wonderful mentor/friend to me. So when Danielle called me up and asked me to take pictures for their house I said, "HECK YES!" It was a blast to photograph these ladies, they're a hoot to say the least.

nick+rachel [in love]

This may be the best looking couple I've EVER photographed! They both are beautiful!! The whole time I was processing these I kept saying, "They're so good looking! They're SO good looking!" In addition to being totally gorgeous (Nick, in a very manly way) they are two of the sweetest kids I know. Nick asked me to take these so he could put a surprise gift together for Rachel's birthday. Since I was just starting this whole photo biz thing, I had the perfect opportunity to make up a story about how I needed a "test couple" to be guinea pigs for me. Rachel ate it up and we set a date. The pictures turned out awesome and Nick printed them and put together a special collage for her birthday! Isn't that so sweet!?

Rachel

I stole my friend Rachel for a mini photo shoot, she was less than willing at first but surrendered once I gave her the puppy dog face, you know the one. We went out for coffee and I started shooting. Rachel, you are so beautiful, thanks for suffering, ya look GOOD!
