rainy day

Today has just been UGLY outside, it's dark and stormy and just blah all together. My morning did not start out the greatest and the weather has not exactly been the best pick me up, so I'm creating my own! Yesterday was beautiful, sunny and 85! Of course I did as any person living 8 minutes from Lake Michigan would do, I went to the beach! (The free one because I am a college student and therefore a cheap-o..don't judge!) On my way I stopped to snap some pictures of the gorgeous flowers my mom has planted outside.

This is one of my favorite sights, whoever created this tunnel entryway to the lake was a GENIUS! The other day my friend Tianna visited from Indiana and when she saw this she screamed, "Are you bringing me to the OCEAN!?" People just don't believe that you can't see the other side.

Tianna also made this wonderful little reading buddy! It helps keep my page without bending it!
